You may have noticed that Ubuntu 8.10 includes a persistent LiveUSB creator on the LiveCD. This is very convenient, as the old method of doing it was complicated, and the LiveUSB creator doesn’t require partitioning either. However, 8.10 running of a USB drive is extremely slow.
I am thinking of putting Ubuntu on my flashdrive because I don’t like Fedora. I use Ubuntu now 🙂 (see this blog post)
