Play Ogg – A campaign from the FSF

You may have noticed a new button on the side of OKS Blog recently. It’s for the Free Software Foundation’s Play Ogg campaign.

There’s a lot of video formats out there. Most of them are proprietary, which really sucks.

The Free Software Foundation decided to start their campaign to promote Ogg, a free, rights-free media container format.
Audio in Ogg files is usually encoded with Vorbis, but others are out there. Video is done in Theora.

That’s all for now, I guess. Then again, it’s 0:42. So I’m tired. I will now wander off to bed.
