This is another one of my opinion blog entries.

Biased, you could say that.
At the time of posting this blog, I discovered that the site admin changed the theme. Now the CSS or whatever runs really slowly, even when I’m using Firefox 3.0.4 on a Mac PPC. JavaScript would be a better alternative for adding effects to this webpage, including that pop up navbar you will see if you scroll down the page.
One of my friends by the name Dylan has a blog at www.conduitzone.com. He uses Joomla (whatever that may be) and enhances his page with JavaScript and Google Ads just for the purpose of earning money. His site runs just fine and smooth, except for the fact that it is quite slow to load.
Overall, the theme and asthetics of this blog are great, but needs some improvement on the code and technical part. Also, the “Log In” link could be a little more conspicous, I had to use the word find to find the link, which was hiding in the “Meta” section.
Since this topic is highly controversial for some people, everyone is welcome to post their comments about this and the Onekopakaspace Blog.
I hope to see many improvements being made in the near future.

The column on the right is sometimes very lengthy. At the end of some posts, it extends about a mile down the page, leaving a football field of blank space. The site admin needs to trim off some of that fat (no offense).

I see that the theme has changed. now, the background is static. Good Idea. it just makes your blog run even slower.
Are you sure you’re looking at the current theme? The navbar that “pops up” is actually not in this theme. It’s in K2.
Joomla is actually a content management system.
About the login link, I can move it into the navbar with the subscribe and admin links.
The login link is in the navbar now. Also fixed an issue if you weren’t loggged in and viewed a post, the sidebar would be messed up.
there is a navbar in both of the themes. The theme I am currently viewing is metallic in composition with a grey background and white foreground. The pop-up navbar really slows down browsing, and has the words “SUBSCRIBE”, “ADMIN”, and “SEARCH”.
In the other theme with a Halo screenshot, the navbar allows you to navigate between adjacent articles.
I’d like to comment that the reCaptcha thing was messed up when I forgot to enter the words in the field. It was placed in the middle, and the “RECENT POSTS” section was blocking it. The publish button was also in the wrong place. Another sign that this blog needs massive improvement.
hmm why would it be placed in the middle? I guess maybe I shouldn’t need a reCAPTCHA for commenting, they already did one to sign up.
ONLY when I enter the wrong words, the box shifts position. But it’s gone now.
I’ll remove the Archives widget if it makes you feel better. Also, the background having a fixed position doesn’t make it slower. Not on my machines. I’m using latest versions of Firefox (on my mac I use a nightly, but on Ubuntu I use release versions).
Onekopakspace Blog is now VALID XHTML 1.0 Transitional. Better than the folks at The Conduit Zone can say.
